The European Council is a quintessential part of the European Union, first convened in 1961. It works to define the European Union’s overall political direction and priorities. As the Union goes through troubling times and seemingly endless Brexit Negotiations, it will be up to the European Council the future relationship of the United Kingdom and the European Council. The delegates of this committee will be representing the heads of states of the European Council members, with the aim of coming up with feasible and applicable solutions and/or frameworks to the complicates question of post-Brexit relations between the European Union and the United Kingdom.
